The two-compartment layout is genuinely useful—I can keep my 17-inch laptop in the back and toss a tablet plus my lunch in the front without everything jumbling together. Zippers feel sturdy, and the whole pack is lighter than I expected for something this roomy.

The zippers glide smoothly even when the main pocket is stuffed full, which is rare for a pack this size. My 17-inch work laptop fits snugly in its own slot, and the tablet pocket keeps my Kindle from getting scratched on the commute.

The separate compartments keep my 17-inch work laptop and tablet completely isolated—no more scratching them against each other. I can toss it under an airplane seat without a second thought, and it still holds everything I need for a full day out.
