Mochila Poncho

Rain started halfway down the ridge and this thing unfolded quick enough to keep my pack bone-dry, plus it's light enough I barely noticed it strapped to my bag the whole climb. Covers both me and my gear without feeling like a tent, which is exactly what I needed for a day hike.

Tossed it in my daypack before a hiking trip and forgot it was even there until the rain hit. Lightweight is an understatement, and it covered both me and my bag without any fuss. Exactly what I needed for emergencies.

The fabric held up perfectly during a sudden downpour on the trail, and my backpack stayed completely dry underneath. It packs down so small that I've started keeping it in my car's glovebox for unexpected storms.
